Producing families will often stay in temporary housing on the farm during harvest season to transport the coffee to Loxicha in several trips. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"\"\u003eWithin Loxicha, indigenous Zapotec languages and traditions remain alive and well. The Pluma variety, a local Typica mutation, has thrived in the region for over 80 years, and many farmers maintain the tradition of planting exclusively this variety. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"\"\u003eThis coffee offers a more traditional and balanced cup with moderate acidity giving a citrus quality, as well as deeper nuttiness and notes of maple syrup and walnuts.
