About Kinship

We're Kinship Coffee Roasters, a single origin roaster based out of Astoria Queens NYC.

Each coffee season we take you on a tasting experience with hand selected coffees from origins ranging from Ethiopia, Kenya, Guatemala, Colombia and Peru . We are dedicated to sourcing the highest quality coffees that have achieved 86+ ratings. When we carefully roast each small batch, our light to medium roast profile allows us to achieve sweetness, clarity and vibrancy so that you may experience the essence of the varietal and cultivar of the region, making all our coffees exceptional for every brewing method.

Our ideal cup is sweet, clean and nuanced with depth; showcasing the varietal's origin and personality.

By tasting to see which coffees speak to our palettes; we are able to edit and share with you those that truly shine and stand out amongst the others.

Our coffees come from humble farms and we are honored to serve, share , and brew each hand picked harvest .. They rotate every month to 3 months; depending on the size of the harvest. 

To us, coffee is more than just a beverage, it's a connection between people cultures and stories.

We take pride in being the hands to prepare these artisanal coffees as we craft them to achieve clarity in flavor using excellent brewing practices, techniques, and skills all while connecting with our community within our shops.
